LONE STAR, Texas — Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a 22-year-old man died from a suspected overdose in an East Texas town.

According to the Lone Star Police Department, the man was found unresponsive lying in the street in the 100 block of Ponder Street in Lone Star around 5 a.m. Monday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from a suspected overdose.

While on the scene, officers found a white crystal substance that field tested positive for having methamphetamine and fentanyl. Officers searched a home in the area on Wednesday and Keenan Wesley was taken into custody for a bond revocation warrant out of Cass County, police said.
