MONROE, La. (KNOE) -For the 11th year, Jo-el’s in Monroe’s Garden District is making sure no one spends Thanksgiving hungry or alone. With the help of friends, family, and local bikers, the restaurant serves and delivers free meals to anyone in need—whether they’re facing hard times, lack transportation, or simply want company.

Organizers say the tradition is about more than food—it’s about connection. Volunteers deliver meals to families who’ve come to rely on this event, creating moments of joy and community.
