CHEYENNE – Between Tuesday and Thursday, the Laramie County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) partnered with the Wyoming Highway Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to conduct Operation Safe Haul. This coordinated effort was aimed at removing unqualified, unsafe and undocumented commercial drivers from Laramie County roadways, an LCSO news release said.

Primary areas of focus included Interstate 25, I-80, U.S. Highway 85 and state highways/county roads in the communities of Cheyenne, Carpenter, Burns, Pine Bluffs and Albin. During the three-day operation, LCSO 287(g) deputies conducted 195 traffic stops, issued 49 citations and arrested dozens of drivers.
