ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — A woman whose sister with dementia was staying at a residential care home said her family learned of a frightening incident only after the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office posted a video online showing the woman slipping on the home’s roof.

Deputies said a woman walked onto the roof of All Saints Home Care and slipped, according to a video the sheriff’s office posted on social media. They said it happened on Nov. 18.

Cheryl, who asked for her last name not to be shared to protect her sister’s identity, said the facility or law enforcement never notified her family. She said she recognized her sister immediately when the video surfaced.
