All the parts of England set to be spared from the forthcoming snowfall have been revealed - amid reports the country could face a staggering EIGHT INCHES.

On December 1, maps from WXCharts turn white with the white stuff stretching from the top of Scotland down to Newcastle. The maps and charts, which are based off the GFS model, show a downturn in conditions ahead of Christmas .

Up to 10mm per hour is expected at times, with flurries lingering until December 4, where everywhere from the Midlands to south west is at risk. In the Highlands, up to 9cm is predicted to settle, while Dundee will see up to 3cm, the Met Desk data shows.
