TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - As Thanksgiving fades into the rearview mirror, holiday shopping is set to take center stage. This upcoming Saturday marks Small Business Saturday, a day that has generated billions for small businesses since 2010, according to the Small Business Administration.
Fourth Avenue in Tucson is gearing up to encourage local shopping over the next couple of days. The area is hoping to see an influx of shoppers for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, aiming to "Keep it local, keep it real."
Shram Bhanti, owner of Bani, a new handmade goods shop on Fourth Avenue, is back in retail after more than a decade. He told News 4 Tucson he missed connecting with customers.
