A person was sent to hospital after being struck by a train on Thanksgiving evening in San Jose, the city’s fire department said.
The fire department said firefighters responded to the area of Curtner Avenue and Highway 87 just before 8 p.m. after receiving reports of a person who was struck by a train.
According to officials, the person was transported to a local hospital. Their status is unknown at this time.
