Delaware's largest Roman Catholic figure recently joined other bishops in the U.S. in condemning federal immigration policy.

The Most Rev. William Koenig, bishop of the Diocese of Wilmington, runs the diocese for all Catholic parishes of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. He joined 215 other Catholic bishops in approving a statement advocating for reform of federal immigration policies to ensure human dignity and respect, the Nov. 12 statement said .
