For 11 years, Old Rochester Regional High School students have turned nursing home memories into lasting legacies, crafting biographies for residents of Sippican Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

The initiative, which began with a single resident's wish to publish his life story, has grown into an annual collaboration between the high school and the nursing home, according to a community announcement.

A group of six students recently completed biographies for several residents. Four seniors from the school's National Honor Society — Linden White, Grace Rousseau, Aiden Cabral and Austin Scully — were joined by juniors Olivia Thompson and Tessa Ripley, who are participating in the project for the second year.
