The Wizards ended a 14-game losing streak when they beat the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, but the news wasn’t all good for Washington coming out of the game.
Forward Corey Kispert broke the tip of his right thumb in the contest, and he will be sidelined indefinitely.
The Wizards tweeted on Thursday, “The injury will be treated conservatively, and Kispert’s recovery status will be updated as appropriate.”
Kispert scored 19 points on Tuesday after putting up 20 on Saturday in a loss to the Chicago Bulls — the first two games he started this season. He failed to score in double figures in each of the previous six games.
