Lenawee County has been awarded $1.5 million in grant funding from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority through the MI Neighborhood Program.
The funding will support home improvement projects throughout Lenawee County, with a focus on preserving and enhancing quality of life for low- to moderate-income residents, according to a community announcement.
Eligible activities may include roof replacements, HVAC upgrades, siding repairs, window and door replacements and other essential health and safety improvements.
By addressing the county’s aging housing stock, rising repair costs and the growing risk of homeowner displacement, this initiative will play a critical role in supporting community stability, according to the announcement. Based on available funding, Lenawee Count
