Jeremy Dolin is no longer the coach of the Scott football team after five seasons following his decision to retire, but he is thankful for the memories made during that journey.
It has started to sink in for him that his time walking the sidelines alongside the Skyhawks is over. They completed a less-than-ideal 2-8 season with a 41-21 loss at Williamstown on Nov. 7, and he said that’s when it hit him.
“Not going to practice on Monday kind of set in,” Dolin said on Nov. 12. “It kind of hit me Friday night when we were standing out on the field seeing those seniors and how distraught they were getting ready to take that uniform off for the last time. I knew myself, too, that was the last time I was going to be making decisions for a football game.”
