LOGAN — A 23-year-old Cornish man has pleaded guilty for his involvement in a domestic dispute that occurred in October. Daniel Aguirre has been in the Cache County Jail since the victim contacted law enforcement , explaining how she had been assaulted by the defendant after the two had been drinking.

According to court records, Aguirre appeared Nov. 17 in Logan’s 1 st District Court. He accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to kidnapping, amended to a second-degree felony; and aggravated assault, a third-degree felony. Three remaining charges were dismissed.
