Taxpayers wouldn’t know the cost of the landfill bid until after the deal is done? That certainly raises some red flags.

Why the non-disclosure agreement? Even if we were given the details of the bid, nothing the municipal, provincial or federal governments do ever comes in on budget or on time, and decisions are put off too long and then approved in haste.
