A headteacher has been banned from teaching for 15 years after repeatedly exposing himself to female staff, including standing semi-naked in his office and flashing his penis during room inspections and meetings. James Richards, 46, shocked one teacher when she entered his office to find him with his trousers down, and on another occasion, reportedly told a colleague: “Inspect this, Miss.”

The teacher said the incidents left her feeling “worthless” and “awful,” while Mr Richards allegedly stood there smirking. Richards faced a series of sexual misconduct allegations during his time as head teacher of Cadle Primary School in Swansea, which has around 300 pupils.
