HEALTH CARE OUTREACH: $2.5M grant to expand street medicine program

TRAVERSE CITY — A $2.5-million federal grant awarded this month will help improve and expand northern Michigan street medicine training for medical students enrolled in Munson Healthcare’s Family Medicine Residency program.

The grant, awarded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, aids programs in the enhancement and expansion of street medicine outreach across the country.
