MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - In honor of the Badgers taking on the Golden Gophers Saturday for the annual battle for Paul Bunyan’s axe, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is releasing a football rivalry bobblehead.

The bobblehead is being released in conjunction with the 135th meeting between the teams on Saturday, November 29th at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The Minnesota-Wisconsin football rivalry dates back to 1890 and is the longest continuously played rivalry in Division 1 football.

Making Saturday’s border battle even more interesting, the all-time series is tied at 63-63-8.
