A former restaurant building in Alliance has been sold for $345,000, and the new owner plans to open a new eatery there.

Jesus Mireles Quezada Jr., owner of Don Pancho’s Tex-Mex Grill in Alliance, has purchased the former Tailgater Sports Bar and Grill at 1490 E. State St. and plans to turn it into another restaurant, called Townies Bar and Grill.
