We're waking up even colder now than we were Thursday morning! Out-the-door temperatures are in the mid and upper 20s. We'll keep plenty of sunshine throughout Friday but even at our warmest, temperatures will rise only to the upper 40s. Wind gusts up to 20 mph today could make that upper 40s temperature really feel like the lower 40s this afternoon.

Saturday will remain cloudy but dry until late afternoon and dinnertime. Starting around 4pm, scattered rain will push into the Shoals, crossing over I-65 by 6:30pm, and lasting with us for the remainder of the night. If you're planning on hosting an Iron Bowl watch party, it would be best to do so inside. Scattered rain even lasts through early Sunday morning.
