The Met Office has issued a Yellow rain alert for Wales for Saturday and Monday, November 29 and December 1. Heavy downpours are forecast for Wales, expected to start at around 6am on Saturday until 11.59pm, and from around midnight on Monday until 3pm.
The Yellow alert for rain was issued at 10.44am on Friday, November 28. The Met Office said the areas affected were Blaenau Gwent , Bridgend , Caerphilly , Cardiff , Carmarthenshire , Ceredigion , Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire , Neath Port Talbot , Newport , Pembrokeshire , Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea , Torfaen and Vale of Glamorgan.
