The Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) confirmed its leadership for the upcoming year at a meeting held on Monday, Nov. 25. Leo Boland, trustee for the City of Pembroke, was elected as the new chairman, and Roger Clarke, representing Whitewater Region and Admaston Bromley, was chosen as vice-chairman.
The pair will lead the Board of Trustees through the 2025-2026 academic year as the RCDSB prepares to launch a new long-term strategic plan.
Focus on achievement and equity
Following the election, Boland emphasized the continuity of the Board’s core mandate.
