ARLINGTON, Texas (KCTV) - The Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff hopes were dealt another crushing blow with a Thanksgiving loss in Dallas.
But the Chiefs also added injury to insult, with rookie left tackle Josh Simmons and veteran right tackle Jawaan Taylor each suffering injuries that forced them to exit the game.
According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport , Simmons suffered a dislocated and fractured wrist. Rapoport said Simmons left the stadium in a cast and is “out indefinitely.”
Simmons exited the game due to injury in the third quarter. He was replaced at left tackle by Wanya Morris.
Rapoport said Simmons will receive an MRI on Friday and then will seek opinions on treatment options. It remains to be seen whether he’ll go on injured reserve. If he does, he would be out unt
