What do you get with an NHL goalie? Who can say? Who knows? Not I and likely not you.

When you look at the top ten regular goalies in the NHL this year by save percentage, only three of them were starters in the National Hockey League last season. The other seven were back-ups.

No. 1 on the list, Jesper Wallstedt, had an .879 save percentage in the AHL last year, with No. 2 Devin Cooley also playing in the AHL with a .905 save percentage. This year Wallstedt is at .935 in eight games for the Wild, Cooley at .930 in eight games for the Flames.
