There was nearly as much frost on the inside of the windshield as there was on the outside.
I suspect that’s because when I’d parked the little trucklet the day before, the temperature was still above freezing but now, at -11 C, the moisture trapped inside had condensed and turned crystalline where it encountered the glass.

I didn’t really pay much attention to it as it was clustered near the top of the windshield but as I pulled away from the curb and headed down the street the morning sun lit it up and I could see all the nifty little leaf-like details shining bright against the blue sky. Quickly, I shut off the defroster, pulled over and grabbed my phone. The angle was too tight for my regular cameras but I was able to move the phone close and grab a couple picture
