Tucson, AZ (KVOA) — As Arizona's winter sun warms the desert trails and snow dusts the high country peaks, it's time to embrace the outdoors with the AZ Bootleg 100 —an inclusive, self-paced challenge that turns the season into a celebration of movement and community.

Launching December 1 and running through March 10 (that's exactly 100 days), this beloved event invites hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers to explore any trail in the state while earning points toward a personal milestone. No mandatory routes, no intense pressure—just the joy of getting on trail, having fun, and repeating.

The rules are simple and flexible: Log your miles on Arizona trails using the free tracking software provided upon registration. Aim for at least 100 points to officially become a Bootlegger.
