One person was hospitalized after a shooting at the Ghost Bar in Hollywood, according to police, and a second shooting nearby is connected to it.

Hollywood police said there were several 911 calls made in reference to a shooting around 2 a.m. at 5450 South State Road 7. The bar is right across the street from the popular Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

When officers arrived at the scene, there was one person with a gunshot wound. That person was taken to a local hospital and as of 10:30 a.m. was in stable condition.

Hollywood police said that while there were officers at Ghost Bar, a second shooting happened at 5190 South State Road 7, about half a mile away from the first shooting. Police said there were no injuries reported at the second shooting, but that it appears both shootin
