BERLIN (Reuters) -German inflation rose more than expected, to 2.6% year on year in November, preliminary data from the federal statistics office showed on Friday.

Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast EU-harmonised inflation nudging up to 2.4% from last month's 2.3%.
