BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Twin City Mission hosted a Thanksgiving dinner today, serving over 650 people.

People from around the Brazos Valley came to get a warm meal and gather with other folks. Twin City provided a sit-down and drive-thru option to make the meal accessible to all.

Dorothy Nevill, CEO of Twin City Mission, shed light on why this event is so special.

“This is one of my absolute favorite events because we get the community involved,“ Nevill said. ”We have so many volunteers that come and help us serve, cut pie, throw trash out, it is really awesome. And what’s even more important is we’re able to serve the community here in Brazos Valley.”

Twin City Mission plans to continue its Thanksgiving tradition for years to come.
