A second suspect has been charged following allegations a woman posed as a care worker to steal from a 91-year-old pensioner with dementia. Police were called on Saturday, November 15 after the victim was reportedly targeted at her home near Week Street in Maidstone.

A spokesperson said: "It is alleged that at around 11.15am a stranger showed up at the property and made claims to a relative that she was a carer, before leaving with the victim’s bank card. The card is suspected to have then been fraudulently used to make several cash withdrawals and purchases, totalling more than £2,000."
