CLEVELAND — The City of Lorain says some of its residents should boil their water after a cellular service outage drained the city's Red Hill Water Tower in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to a press release from Mayor Jack W. Bradley, cellular signal was cut off from the City of Lorain Water Purification Plant from just before midnight until about 5:15 a.m. Friday. During that time, the Red Hill Water Tower was completely drained.
The city issued a Precautionary Boil Advisory for residents in the Red Hill Pressure District.
