Caught in a love triangle involving her longtime boyfriend and her new girlfriend, Nicola Puddicombe became “exhausted” and finally gave her girlfriend the go-ahead to carry out her plan of bludgeoning Dennis Hoy to death

“One day I said, ‘OK, let’s do this,’” Puddicombe testified Thursday at her “faint-hope” hearing , where the convicted murderer spoke publicly for the first time about the 2006 plot to kill Hoy as she asked a Toronto jury to grant her an earlier parole date .
