Small Business Saturday

Emporia Main Street is hosting its annual Small Business Saturday “Elf Scavenger Hunt”. Participants will use a map to search around businesses scattered throughout the city, filling out their maps.

Those who complete and turn in their maps by 2:00 p.m. will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate. A free showing of “Elf” at 2:00 p.m. at the Granada Theatre will conclude the day. More information can be found on the Emporia Main Street website.

Before I Donate Summer Free Market

Travel to Flint Hills Technical College campus on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to drop off any unwanted goods and find your next find in time for the holidays. Trades are not required, and you may take or leave as much as you wish.
