QUINCY -- The Quincy University football team won some hardware with the Great Lakes Valley Conference awards being announced this week.

Hawks freshman quarterback Bradyn Little earned the 2025 GLVC Freshman of the Year award, with the Quincy High School product putting up a stellar season.

Little ranked fourth in the conference in completion percentage (65.2%) and fourth in passing yards (2,492). He combined for 21 total touchdowns, 17 passing and four rushing.

Little is just the second QU player to win Freshman of the Year, joining running back Chris Harris, who won the award in 2014.

Hawks senior defensive lineman Jaylin Vaughn finished off his collegiate career as the 2025 GLVC Defensive Player of the Year.
