Buffalo Bills legend Steve Tasker moved quickly to shut down a false report that he had passed away.

Unfortunately, it’s too easy for misinformation, conspiracy theories and fake reports to spread quickly around the worldwide web. And so, some NFL fans naturally must have freaked out when they read a phony report on Facebook that Steve Tasker had passed away.

But the reality? Tasker is healthy and doing just fine at the age of 63, thank you very much.

On Thursday morning, a Buffalo Bills fan Facebook page called “Frozen Charge” posted a message stating that Steve Tasker had unexpectedly passed away. For starters, they got his age wrong and said Tasker died at 62.
