IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa City is set to become a winter wonderland with the return of the ‘Tis the Season programming starting November 29, Small Business Saturday.

This annual event encourages patrons to support local businesses while enjoying a variety of festive activities. Christopher Hunter, Director of Marketing for the Iowa City Downtown District, highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses. "Supporting our local businesses not only strengthens our community but also creates lasting memories for families and friends who visit," Hunter said.

The City of Iowa City will offer free parking in all downtown ramps and Fare Free Transit on November 29, making it easier for shoppers to explore the downtown area.
