President Donald Trump used a slur to describe Governor Tim Walz in the hours after announcing an immigration suspension from so-called "Third World Countries."

In an anti-immigrant Thanksgiving message on Truth Social, the president turned his ire to Walz, using the highly offensive slur "seriously retarded" to describe him as he proceeded to target Somali residents of Minnesota.

It came in the hours after he posted that he would "permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the US system to fully recover."

Though he didn't reveal what countries to which he is referring, he made the false claim that most of the 53 million immigrants in the U.S. are "on welfare, from failed nations, or from prisons, mental institutions, gangs, or drug cartels."
