Pep Guardiola says he has not spoken with Bernardo Silva about his Manchester City future - but will be happy with any decision he makes. Silva was made captain by Guardiola for this season but is in the final year of his contract at the Etihad and has not committed to staying any longer.
Silva has said that he has already made a call on his future, and his boyhood club Benfica have made noises about bringing him back to Lisbon next season. The 31-year-old is free to talk to other clubs in January if he does not sign a new deal at City by then, but has also been clear that he will not yet speak about his decision.
