The Manitoba RCMP says its rollout of body-worn cameras is nearly complete, with 98 per cent of frontline officers across the province now outfitted with the devices.
The final group of officers, based in Berens River, will receive cameras once a new detachment with the necessary infrastructure opens next week.

The RCMP began deploying cameras service-wide to strengthen transparency and accountability in daily policing. The devices are paired with a digital evidence management system that automatically stores and organizes video and audio captured during investigations.
