Belleville Police responded to 199 calls for service over a 48-hour period beginning at 5 a.m. on November 26 to 5 a.m. on November 28.

Drug arrests

On November 27th, as a result of an on-going Drug Trafficking investigation in the City of Belleville; members of Belleville Police Drug Unit executed a controlled Drug Search Warrant on Turnbull Street with the assistance of the Belleville Police K9 and Emergency Response Unit.

Police seized: 19.3 grams of Fentanyl; 4.6 grams of Cocaine; $2515 in Canadian currency; and four cell phones.

As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:

Amanda Taylor, 35, of Belleville, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing: Possession for the purpose
