The Kiln Ceramics Studio is the latest addition to the soon to be filled Memorial Market Square building. In the words of owner Kris Keiller, “It’s exciting, isn’t it? The square is filling up all so nicely.”
Kris came from an artistic family in Madoc and took art throughout high school and thought about being an art teacher. Ceramics was just a hobby at the time, until she started researching the market. In 2022, after hearing about friends driving to Kingston and Cobourg and Orangeville to paint pottery with their kids, she gave it a try with her own children. Every event became a celebration of creativity, connection, and good vibes.
