Four pizzerias with stores in the UK have made it on the list of the top 50 in the world.
L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele came first in the list. Founded in Naples, some 150 years ago, Da Michele now has over 70 locations across the world, with one stunning location on King Street in Manchester city centre.
Second place went to Big Mamma Group, an organization born out of two French entrepreneur’s love for Italy, Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux, today boasting numerous restaurants including one in Manchester city centre called Circolo Popolare.
Also making the list at sixth place is Pizza Pilgrims, which was founded by brothers James and Thom Ellio, and opened in Deansgate in August this year.
Finally completing the Manchester representation was the city's own, Rudy's who
