The mother of a baby who died when he was just eight days old has issued a moving thank you to people who raised more than £430,000 for the hospice that helped them. Gwenno George said she wished she could hold her son Emrys again and tell him of the "huge impact" he had made.
Gwenno and her partner Luke Nicholas told how the only normal thing they got to do for their son was the four-hour journey to his last resting place. They wanted to tell their story as a way of thanking the team at Ty Hafan hospice in the Vale of Glamorgan who had helped them through those difficult days.
The couple's son Emrys Arthur, who was born prematurely at 25 weeks, only weighed 800g and was taken straight to the baby
