Cicero, N.Y. — Nothing ignites more energy in a high school basketball crowd than a player coming down the court and slamming one down on a defender.

The fans know it. The players know it. Everyone knows it.

At syracuse.com’s winter sports media day, we asked Section III boys basketball players who on their team is most likely to put an opponent on a poster with a monster dunk.

Here’s what they said:

Jacob McDonald , Altmar-Parish-Williamstown

“I probably have the most athleticism on the team and I don’t know, nobody else can dunk on my team. So most likely I probably won’t, but I hope I do. That’d be crazy.” — McDonald
