ROCHESTER, Minn. – A not guilty plea has been entered for a summer drive-by-shooting.

Keywan Davonta Johnson, 32 of Rochester, is accused of drive-by shooting, second-degree assault, possession of a firearm after conviction for a crime of violence, reckless discharged of a firearm, and fleeing a peace office by means other than a motor vehicle.

The Rochester Police Department says Johnson had a confrontation with another adult male on July 28 that led to Johnson firing two shots at a Caravan on July 29 that was being driven by the brother of the adult male. The brother's wife and three children were passenger in the vehicle at the time.

Investigators say two .40 caliber rounds were found at the scene.

Johnson was arrested on July 31 after a foot chase with police.
