R&B singer Ray J was arrested on Thanksgiving Day after reportedly livestreaming an alleged domestic dispute with his estranged wife, Princess Love. The video, obtained by The Buzz among other outlets, showed Ray J telling Princess Love "I'll shoot the [expletive] out of you" over a disagreement regarding custody of their children.

In the video, Princess Love was carrying one of their children while Ray J threatened her with a gun and accused her of being an alcoholic. They have two kids together, 7-year-old Melody Love Norwood and 5-year-old Epik Ray Norwood, and have reportedly filed for divorce four times since marrying in 2016. ABC News reports their divorce "appears to be ongoing," according to court documents.

Who is Ray J?

Born Willie Norwood, Ray J is the younger brother of singer and actress Brandy. The 44-year-old is known for the hit songs One Wish and Sexy Can I, both of which have over 180 million streams on Spotify. He also starred on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood with Princess Love from 2014 to 2019 and was featured in the infamous sex tape with Kim Kardashian back in 2007.

The arrest continues a troubling history for Ray J. He's been open about suffering from suicidal ideations and admitted to Pastor Jamal Bryant he attempted suicide once. After the 2012 death of Whitney Houston, who he was dating at the time, Ray J says he experimented with hard drugs in an attempt to cope.
