A thug who killed a vulnerable pensioner before running off with the cottage pie, cornflakes and the newspaper he had just bought pleads his innocence as police swoop to arrest him.

Peter Augustine is seen shouting at officers that he had "not killed nobody" following the death of John Mackey, who he kicked, hit, stamped on and robbed before leaving him for dead in Manor House, north London earlier this year.
