CORRYTON — Morristown East continued its undefeted ways to open the Gibbs Thanksgiving Tournament on Tuesday night, defeating Seymour 66-51.

With the win, Lady ‘Canes improved to 4-0 on the young season.

East came out with high intensity to start the game, but head coach Justin Combs was unhappy with how the Lady ‘Canes finished the game. East led by as many as 20 in the second quarter, but the Lady Eagles reduced the deficit to 13 by the break.

“The game is 32 minutes long, and we played about 10 tonight,” Combs said. “The first 10, I thought, were really good. We looked like we had looked in the first three games.
