KENOSHA, Wis. (WKOW) — A deadly apartment fire claimed the lives of two young boys Thursday night, according to the Kenosha Police Department.
The Kenosha Fire Department was called to the fire on the 5200 of 43rd Avenue at 10:39 p.m., according to a press release.
The multi-family building was engulfed when they arrived.
A 7-year-old-year girl was taken via MedFlight to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.
The girl's siblings, a 9-year-old boy and his 10-year-old brother, died as a result of the fire, according to spokesperson Lt. Joshua Hecker, of the Kenosha Police Department.
Their father was treated for smoke inhalation at a hospital. The Disaster Response Team is assisting displaced families.
