A snow squall warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 11:55 a.m. in effect until 12:45 p.m. for Clearfield County.

"At 11:53 a.m., a dangerous snow squall was located over Rockton, moving southeast at 45 mph," comments the weather service. "For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the Dubois and Kylertown exits, specifically from mile markers 97 to 130."

Locations impacted by the warning include DuBois, Clearfield, Woodland, Hyde, Plymptonville, Rockton, Lecontes Mills, S.B. Elliot State Park, Falls Creek, Wallaceton, Treasure Lake and Clearfield-Lawrence Airport.
