LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A man was arrested in Colorado on Wednesday after an AMBER Alert was issued for a 13-year-old out of Utah.

According to the Ogden City Police Department (OCPD) in Utah , officers received a report of a missing juvenile on Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Officers say they discovered that the child had likely been taken by Christopher Thomas Wiggins, 33, leading to regional law enforcement notifications and the issuance of an AMBER Alert.

That evening at 7 p.m., Larimer County Sheriff’s Deputies found and apprehended Wiggins. Jessika Francisco, 13, was found safe, and her family has been notified, police said.

OCPD said federal and local victim services are being coordinated to support Francisco at her location in Fort Collins.
